ID-GOV: Mayor Dave Bieter of Boise endorses Paulette Jordan for Idaho Governor
BOISE - With less than three months until election day, the Paulette Jordan campaign announced today that Boise Mayor Dave Bieter has endorsed her bid for governor of Idaho.
“The governor’s office and current leadership in the state legislature have done little for the people of Boise in recent years,” said Bieter. “It’s time for a change, and Paulette Jordan is championing that change with a campaign that has inspired the people of Idaho. Her support for common sense solutions to the challenges we face, such as her support for Medicaid expansion, are exactly what this state needs. That’s why I am proud to offer my endorsement to Ms. Jordan.”
Beiter’s endorsement is the 4th high-profile endorsement for the Jordan campaign.
“I am thrilled that Mayor Bieter has seen the power and potential of this campaign to reach voters of all backgrounds and ideologies,” said Jordan. "Under Mayor Bieter's leadership, the city has earned its designation as the most livable city in the country while also fostering an environment for business to thrive.
