Yes, Robert Mueller will get Trump.

Mueller is smarter than Trump and his people are motivated to get him and his crowd. Maybe Trump will not go to prison, but at some point Mueller will get him to resign. Mueller is not new to "getting them." He knows Trump's total story of collusion and treason. (whatever you want to call it) He has gotten the lower crooks, and is after the kingpins. (and he has gotten "kingpins" before.)
....Yes, it may take more time than we want. And it will be very ugly. But in the end, I honestly believe Mueller will get Trump as well as the rest of the crowd. (and if Mueller is fired by Trump, the next one, whoever that is, will get him too.)

Senate Rs were all big about keeping Sessions safe 6 months ago - they are throwing him to the wolves now.

The bottom line is they all fear nothing more than their beloved, crazed "base" and 45 took them from them, and they know so much as not kissing his ass will have them turn on them.

You WILL see more democrats who don't have the stomach to vote for impeachment than you will see Rs who vote for it - if it comes to it.

Red state Democrats aren't going to vote to convict unless they know there are enough Republicans voting with them to guarantee conviction. Senators like Manchin, Donnelly, McCaskill (this is if they win reelection in Nov) would never vote to convict unless they were 100 percent certain that Trump was going to be gone, because casting a vote to convict Trump in a red state is political suicide.

I don't care about details. People who obsess over details have to justify the time expenditure, so their conclusions are overboard in the direction of the slant from people presenting the details.

They only way he faces justice is IF we can beat him in 2020, and even then, if he loses, it could get VERY, VERY ugly. And, if he leaves office without to much of a fuss, he will likely run to mother russia. But, that all depends on him actually losing.

Trump is likely to be far more impervious to efforts to get him to resign than Nixon was. No sense of shame and his psychology, especially the megalomania, will make him likely to believe he should be president for life.

I think that may be true, except his desire to avoid impeachment or other federal trial that could lead to forfeiture of all his ill-gotten gains may be his point of vulnerability, where he could be leveraged into resigning in exchange for amnesty or partial amnesty.

People romanticize what they did with Nixon, they drug it out back then, too, but there was a breaking point and some level of honor kicked in.

There is literally no honor left in that party.

They are scared shitless of the "base" that 45 took from them AND are most of the leadership is compromised by Russia in a way that would have been inconceivable to anyone in this country in the early 70s.

With experts in all aspects of "corruption" the team will not stop till they get that, "Organized Crime Cabal"..That is their purpose.
