New York, diversity and the US Open

Last edited Tue Sep 4, 2018, 01:42 PM - Edit history (1)

For the first time in history, it is theoretically possible for the last four female players to be two African Americans (Serena Williams and Sloane Stephens), one bi-racial American (Madison Keys) and one Japanese-Haitian who developed her game in Florida(Naomi Osaka). These are four of the last eight.
The other four- Anastasija Sevastova, Carla Suarez-Navarro, Lesia Tsurenko and Karolina Pliskova.
Fuck the racists.

I respect all the players regardless of race as long as they aren't racists themselves.
That said the women don't get their due. Serena has nine more grand slam trophies than any of the US males.
