he questioned her during the Clarence Thomas confirmantion hearings. Hill had testified that Thomas jokingly told her "somebody put a pubic hair in my coke", which was a line from the film. Hatch asserted that Hill stole the quote from from the '73 film, "Exorcist" for use in her testimomy against Thomas.

Hatch was never challenged with the fact that, it was Thomas who had seen the film, but was of the questionable character to use the Coke "joke" in a workplace setting.
