I'm watching the opening hearing. As Senator Whitehouse has ticked off issues that are REALLY sticky, I'm noting that Kavanaugh's face is flushing. Does that mean he's embarrassed? Angry, realizing he's getting NAILED?

Getting raked over the coals like that surely made him angry, uncomfortable, embarrassed, flustered, and unsure how to respond. Even if he was carefully prepped it's pretty hard to control an emotional response to harsh criticism, whether deserved or not.
