Richard Painter is still sticking to his guns after losing his primary Senate bid (Lawrence OD)

To me, this proves that he isn't an act. He wants to see Trump taken down and I would love to see him called to serve as a White House ethics lawyer again in a future Democratic administration. He is a good man.

That sort of thinking gave us people like James Comey. Painter can run for Congress in a red district or work for a public integrity advocacy group.

because he never completely embraced the whole Dem platform, so I voted against him in the primary. I hope he will support and campaign for Tina Smith.

But his views on presidential ethics are solid and that is what his whole thing is about. So I think that is where he belongs because that is what he is gifted at.
