(Napoleon was defeated during that), and Britain ended up as the most powerful country in the world during that and his own reign. Trump is a far worse human than George IV was, and is more likely to ruin things. No, Trump has done nothing to raise himself up into the "George IV" category. If you're thinking of English/British kings, John may the the standard.

Caligula was also big on lying and false bravado. He also held lots of events to send people into an emperor loving frenzy. And he had no problem with inappropriate family relationships. Not saying that's what's up with trump*'s fixation on his eldest daughter but........
