Just wondering: Kavanaugh was on Ken Starr team, or a consultant

and Clinton was subpoenad and did appear in front of a grand jury. Or perhaps testified in front of Starr, don't remember.

Thus, would be interesting if senators would ask Kavanaugh whether this decision was appropriate. Subpoena a sitting president and expect him to comply.

(Not a legal person so perhaps I am mixing apples and oranges..)

“Washington (CNN)Recently released documents reveal that when Brett Kavanaugh worked for independent counsel Ken Starr investigating President Bill Clinton, he grappled with a key question that currently faces special counsel Robert Mueller and congressional lawmakers: What to do when a president won't rule out a pardon for a critical person in the investigation?”

For the record the person they worried about was Susan McDougal who they placed in both prison and chains
