If the Democrats take the house, I believe many Republicans in congress will turn on Trump.

They will have no more use for him. They got their tax cuts, it looks like they are going to get their supreme court pick. If they lose the house Trump will become a major liability against them for the 2020 election.

There will be countless investigations against Trump and many of the people that work for him. It will wreck the Republican party. The Republicans in congress will bail out and take cover.

That's why the op-ed came out. They're going to say they were never really with him and please vote for me in the mid-terms.

Most will not repudiate tRump until it is too late to unstick themselves from him.

It is up to Democrats and the media to make sure that truth is disseminated. I don't have much faith in the media because of the higher ups profit motive (journalists generally are quite dedicated).

The Republicons are playing a dangerous desperate game: Enable and protect tRump as long as possible to get as much dismantled as possible and as much CONservative stuff rammed through, before the water boils.

out of them in the Senate and take most of the governorships in play. They will not turn on their Messiah unless we have them pinned against the wall with one hand, the other drawn back in a fist and "Eastwood eyes".
