McConnell Says Booker May Face Ethics Investigation

Cory Booker (D-NJ) could face scrutiny from the Senate Ethics Committee for violating a rule that prohibits the release of confidential material, the Washington Post reports.

“During Thursday’s hearing on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Booker said he was knowingly violating a Senate rule by releasing an email revealing the nominee’s views on racial profiling.”

“It turns out that document had already been cleared for public release. But later Thursday afternoon, Booker released what he said were 28 documents marked ‘committee confidential’ in a defiant bid to make the confirmation process more transparent.”

I'm sure in his mind he thinks an ethics investigation in this matter would sabotage Booker's quest for the Dem nomination in 2020.

But the chance he is taking is that Booker can turn this around on McConnell and it would actually make him a stronger contender for the Dem Nomination and 2020 win.

Go ahead McConnell - Make My Day!!!!!!

that just simply cast a bad light on kavanaugh and had no business being "committee confidential"
Those should have been public. No ifs ands or buts.

When he could be one who receives the next indictment with a lot of others in his party of putin and trump protectors. Cory Booker is a hero for doing what he did. The KGOP are so corrupt they have to install corrupt judges to give them cover, but its not going to work for any of them . They should all be very scared if they had any connections with putin and russians, especially money , and organized illegal activities to undermine this upcoming election. I would hate to have taking money or any dealing with putin and russian and trump if i were in any of their shoes now, or kavanaugh. They'll become exposed soon.
