What will Trump do about orders he gave in the past that were never executed?

Will Trump look back at orders he gave that were never carried out, and insist that they be implemented immediately? Will he now be more watchful that his decisions are carried out as he intends? Or will he change his mind about those past orders, effectively exonerating the cabal that defied him?

To me that seems like a very important question. In each case he can either demand that the original order be carried out, which could be very bad for the nation and the world, or grant that it was a bad idea, which would be very bad for Trump.

Nothing. He has the attention span of a gnat. That's why staff have been able to manipulate him. fleur-de-lisa Sep 2018 #2

Things enter your head and then slip out of it unnoticed. My Mom is like that. At age 94, what she said a minute ago will either be repeated or forgotten a minute from now. Other than that, she seems quite normal, and can carry on a conversation just fine, except the topics keep coming back over and over again.

Last time I was there on a visit (they live in California and I live in MN), she'd ask when I had gotten into town about every five minutes. I've learned just to answer the questions again and again. Eventually it sinks in. Other than that, she's the same Mom she has always been, except she can't do the things she used to or remember much for long.

Trump doesn't really care about governing, he just wants the accolades and the applause. He's doing what he thinks a TV president would do. Every hour is a different act in his tragic sitcom, and every day is a different episode.

Quiet on the set!

In the moment he screams and rants. But 5 days later he's frgotten all about it and doesn't go back to check or verify. It's too much like work.

The people around him are the ones who follow up and remind him of their pet issue.
