Would that have an impact on the number of jobs created and the job rate percentage? That's a job loss of about 280,000 per month from retirement only. With 3.9% jobless rate, how many of those babyboomer jobs are being filled by others?

You can see it declined sharply after the 2008 recession, meaning that many people permanently left the work force through retirement, discouragement etc. The last few years it's been around 63% so now about as many people are leaving the work force as are entering it.
