Have the Democrats done enough WRT Kavanaugh?

I realize the math is against them now that the filibuster is no longer an option, but did the Senators on the Judicial committee do enough? Were they as committed to fighting Kavanaugh’s appointment as the protesters who risked imprisonment to fight for the SCOTUS? Will the fulll court press be applied to Sen. Collins and Sen. Murkowski? Will the entire Democratic caucus vote unanimously to oppose Kavanaugh?

Much of what I’ve read today has implied that it’s all over but the shouting. Is it? And if it is, did we, and our Senate leadership, do enough? I can accept losing if every possible effort has been made, but has it?

Thoughts?

I called mine( Harris and Feinstein) and 8 others. I am going to keep calling and urge them to boycott a vote. Everything and anything possible must be done to stop him. We have to give McConnell and the GOP a taste of their own medicine.
DC Senate (202)224-3121. RESISTANCE WORKS!

I assume a vote will occur as long as the Majority Leader declares a quorum is present (51 Senators). I know the symbolism would be powerful, but I don’t think it changes the outcome unless you get 2 GOP Senators to join the boycott (which I doubt would happen, but who knows...).

Support for RESISTING has been pretty disappointing and frustrating on this issue on this site for some reason. I have noticed a general defeatist attitude. It seems like a lot of posters already assume he is going to be confirmed so why bother making any effort to resist despite the fact that our Dem reps on the Senate Judiciary are fighting and succeeding with new condemning info on Kavanaugh on an almost daily basis. Even the MSM is reporting on their successes so I really don't get the reason for this attitude with Dems.

*Notice the last link. It is good news related to Senator King. Also the post about Murkowski. King is a NO and Murkowski is getting pressure from the Senate Judiciary, particularly from Hirono, and the Native Americans in her state. With the added info today from Feinstein and the newest info she received and handed over to the FBi there is a rel chance he may not get confirmed. Keep calling and pleas check out the links.

Contacting Marco Rubio was probably a wasted effort but hopefully Bill Nelson will resist the 3rd way types attempting to convince him a “yes” vote will help him retain his seat vs Rick Scott in November. I’ve called, written, and emailed. If I had time I’d camp out on front of his office in DC. If he votes “yes” I think he’ll lose a lot of progressive support. I could see people voting for Gillum for Gov and leaving the the oval blank next to Nelson’s name. Not that I agree, but I could see it happening.
