Thousands of mental health professionals agree with Woodward & NYTimes: Trump is dangerous

Bob Woodward’s new book, “Fear,” describes a “nervous breakdown of Trump’s presidency.” Earlier this year, Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury” offered a similar portrayal.

Now, an op-ed in The New York Times by an anonymous “senior White House official” describes how deeply the troubles in this administration run and what effort is required to protect the nation.

None of this is a surprise to those of us who, 18 months ago, put together our own public service book, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.”

My focus as the volume’s editor was on Trump’s dangerousness because of my area of expertise in violence prevention. Approaching violence as a public health issue, I have consulted with governments and international organizations, in addition to 20 years of engaging in the individual assessment and treatment of violent offenders.

1. It's frightening how his supporters just don't get what's going on. I think they simply

love a stupid asshole as president, because he's similar to them. And congress under GOP control is a miserable failure. Far too many are only interested in congress of hanging onto their cushy jobs. If ever we needed congressional term limits, this is an excellent example for the need IMO.

2. Malignant Narcissist is what he is .....

There's a place in the video of the trainer Dr talking to his student about how "If you ever encounter a Malignant Narcissist, just turn around and run! There's nothing you can do for them and they'll only hurt you". Its so severe a consition that there is no treatment. And as we all know, his stress level is high. Things are only going to get worse for him AND his mental health. Way to throw a "bomb" in the system with your vote, Spanky voters. Your "bomb"turned out to be real.
