Overheard a couple of people talking politics at McDonald's yesterday

Doesn't matter the venue. If I overhear two people talking politics it's always foxnews talking points and it's always two old white men.

Often one of them is almost reasonable but then the other confidently corrects him and tells echos the foxnews talking point and then the other signs on.

The sickness continues to spread....

They weren't out to change the votes of 'smart people; they were targeting the dumb ones, or 'easily influenced angry ones'.

just last night that he so wished the lame stream media would talk more about tRump’s many accomplishments and all he is doing for our country. I asked him if he could give me an example of his many accomplishments and he said “it’s just like a liberal” to ignore all the good things that are happening right now instead of giving the pResident any credit. Round and around we went and no example of awesomeness came to light. There wasn’t enough alcohol or patience for me to go any further. Like the saying goes...you can’t fix stupid.

Well, it's better than if Hillary had been elected.
That's a signal it's time to sign off. As an uncle of mine used to say, Don't get in a battle of wits if it's obvious your opponent is unarmed.

I read that the first thing a person hears about something (as an idiot watching Fox News does) is what is most believed. Later facts contradicting the first are not believed. Fox often comes up with outlandish "news" and it is later refuted by facts, however it is that first "information" that is believed.

That's why they disable all critical thinking.

Only then can they pour in complete nonsense and have it be believed.

He's 6'5" former football player, I'm a weight lifter, and we start talking about the Dotard and his stupidities. Old white men get up, look at us, think better of it, and walk off.

They are so easy to screw with. Any time I get a chance, I get in their face. Living in Florida, I get a lot of chances, love it.
