Can we PLEASE STOP pretending that Susan Collins is going to do ANYTHING that requires

political courage, or principle???

Just please stop! The ONLY way she will ever vote against Kavanaugh is if he has enough Democratic Senators to ensure he gets to 50 + the VP.

I'm reminded of a saying one of my Chiefs used to use in the Navy; "never try to teach a goat to sing. It's a waste of your time and it pieces off the goat"

In other words...QUIT WASTING YOUR FUCKING TIME

schumer is giving manchin, et al permission to vote yes as long as it isnt going to count. if there are any r-no votes out there, they will be told to, and i suspect know they have to, vote no.
