For those who saw trump's 911 speech...

...he looked and sounded very sincere, didn't he?

Holy cow, he can't even pull off something like that. All he has to do is get in front of the camera for a few moments and pretend he is a human being. Nope. No can do.

It was pathetic. He sounded like they drugged him and he was play acting the part.

I can't really explain what it is, but I'm sure you know what I mean. He kind of tilts his head a little and does a little bad acting. It's horrible.

Many sociopaths spend their entire lives attempting to mimic that action but when you cannot truly feel empathy, it is merely a performance that rings hollow. Sincerity cannot be produced when there is no personal frame of reference from which to draw.

I have known sociopaths who genuinely wish they could offer comfort in a way that is truly genuine and empathetic. Inevitably they resort to mimicry. They recognize suffering in others but they are unable to internalize. Even if they have care for an individual and wish to offer compassion, they simply are illequiped.

This is in no way an excuse for Trump. I don't know if he is truly a sociopath. He definitely had a personality disorder. I would stake my reputation.
