So far Woodward's book is just old news

for those of us who have followed this nonsense day by day. But it might be an eye opener and game changer to those who are hearing of these things for the first time.

But we on DU could probably have dictated it.

Reading? I'm thinking about trying out audible books. I'd wondered what the terminology would be. Lol.

I have gone through many dozens of books in short order, and I love the convenience of reading while doing housework and taking long walks.

Inveterate readers who now use Audible and call it "reading." They play close attention to the content than most who "read" the conventional way. One member in one of my book clubs uses the same term and we never choose a book that isn't available on Audible for that reason.

I used to read books fervently, till I quit for some reason?

Now Audible has reintroduced me to 'reading'.

8. As I read it, I "hear" Dan Rather's voice, not Woodward's.

Woodward's voice has always sounded like he's suffering from some sort of neurological or vocal condition. Even when he was young, he sounded a bit like he does today.

could have obtained. This stuff will stand up in court. You sound very proud of your superior insight into the Trump White House. I for one am grateful to Woodward for doing the ground work on this.

Sorry, didn’t mean to.

I think his book is certainly valuable and meticulously researched. I just thought most of what I had read today sounded very familiar. Also we have become quite desensitized, IMO.
