I think everyone who voted for that law should stand on the outer banks and hold up copies of the law they passed forbidding the use of science in determining policies for preparing for natural disasters. One look at that, and Florence will melt away into a harmless zephyr. I'm sure of it! Let's see a display of faith here, North Carolina!

And Pat Robinson and other thumpers should line the shores — there’s plenty of room. And while they’re at it, save room for the spineless Dem gov who signed it into law.

In their mountain homes they have probably used hard science to get ready for the catastrophes they've unleashed on the populace.

Politicians like these aren't stupid - they're just willing to sacrifice others to scramble to the top of the heap.
