DeVos was probably the most egregious cabinet nomination. It's a sobering statement for our legislature that she was confirmed.

Apparently, she wears comfortable shoes when overstepping her bounds. This could all change, however, with Trump appointing federal judges at an alarming pace. Hopefully, they'll take their jobs seriously once seated. Many do.

Contrast this with Mick "Sure I can fill several Administration Positions at once" Mulvaney's sudden morality about student loans being repaid and I don't see how anyone not rich votes Republican.
I attended Everest College, got my AA. I applied for borrower defense April 2017, nary a peep about my application. In that time I repeatedly called the borrower defense line to get my loans into forbearance until determination was made. They were just finally put into forbearance last Friday, 9/7/18. What's interesting is I was dealing with a call center based in San Francisco up until June 2018. Then a Kentucky call center took over. I called about 4-5 time to get my loans into forbearance and every time they (SF call center) would say we sent it to your loan servicer and then I call my servicer and kept getting told they hadn't recieved anything. Last call was on Wednesday 9/5/18, spoke to call center rep in KY for first time, was told I needed to resend an email request as they didn't have any of my info. Got upset, asked for supervisor who called me back within 1 hour, said would process it that day if I emailed request. I emailed request immediately, followed up on Tuesday and was told request was sent and my servicer Nelnet had responded forbearance was recieved and my account updated. Checked my account online and sure enough it was. Makes me wonder if this pending (at time I got forbearance approved) ruling was why all of a sudden it was done without issue.
