Un-sensational: Central PA being slowly ripped apart by persistent rain and moisture

This is a quiet, un-sensational weather story - one that's probably about to get a lot worse.

Other than a week or two of sunny 95+ degree weather - it's been raining in PA - and raining - and raining. Even when its not raining - its grey and misty.

School was canceled today due to flooding. Water is getting places it has never been. Trees are drowning. Harvest season is approaching.

Add to this - certain businesses and trades are hurting - work is slowed. Contracts hard to fulfill or keep profitable.

At this point - everything is so full - any rain results in increasingly instant flooding.

A quiet, widespread disaster. A lot of local headlines - but this hasn't been widely reported.

I think this video is from last year, but the kayaks are a regular feature on that road. We had flooding over the weekend and now we’re expecting Florence to drop still more rain on us.

Everything has been muddy and moldy for months. My house is rotting and I can't fix it while it's raining.
