Poverty rate rising among America's youngest children, particularly infants of color

This is unacceptable. VOTE OUT the elected officials that care more about their bankroll than babies!

The latest Census numbers indicate that, while conditions may be improving for some children and adults, the overall economic well-being of our nation’s youngest citizens is worrisome, particularly so for black and Hispanic children.

In 2017, nearly 1 in 3 black infants and toddlers and more than 1 in 4 Hispanic infants and toddlers lived in poverty, compared to approximately 1 in 9 white infants and toddlers.
