https://edition.cnn.com/2018/09/16/politics/blasey-ford-kavanaugh-letter-feinstein/index.html"At one point when REDACTED jumped onto the bed the weight on me was substantial. The pile toppled, and the two scrapped with each other. After a few attempts to get away, I was able to take this opportune moment to get up and run across to a hallway bathroom. I locked the bathroom door behind me. Both loudly stumbled down the stair well at which point other persons at the house were talking with them. I exited the bathroom, ran outside of the house and went home.
I have not knowingly seen Kavanaugh since the assault. I did see REDACTED once at the REDACTED where he was extremely uncomfortable seeing me."

(23,946 posts)Judge's silence is thunderous, unless he is in Bali he would know his vital role in this.
Also...
Two others at the house may recall the incident.
Therapists notes and medical treatment as exhibits.
Told others of the incident who may recall, including her local representative at the time...the state records will reveal who...he/she may recall.
Corroboration? Yep. Three days to investigate a credible serious criminal allegation against a lifetime appointment to SCOTUS? Hell, no!

WASTED
Tales of a Gen-X Drunk.
By Mark Gauvreau Judge.
Hazelden, $21.95.

The last third of ''Wasted'' is devoted to this realization and his response to it, and while his candor and perseverance are admirable, his experiences here are even less interesting than his thin yarns of Catholic-school shenanigans. Like most new converts, Judge is a zealot, and his proselytizing style becomes tiresome. In the end, ''Wasted'' does stand as a cautionary tale -- not necessarily for alcoholics, but for anyone who wants to write about alcoholism.

(9,533 posts)I read somewhere tonight. Maybe he corroborated the general nature of machismo run wild, though supposedly he didn't know Kavanaugh personally.
