(16,728 posts)Betty White is one of my role models because her take on life is one to enioy what you do and enjoy life. 100% attitude in living a long quality of life.

I read tonight: that she was asked, after all of her long long years of accomplishment, what else she would like to do,
and quick as a wink she replied ..."Robert Redford".

(15,532 posts)what does that imply actually? Why shouldn't we expect her to show her age? I'm just curious.
By the way, I just watched an interview with Robert Redford and he's starting to "show his age" too. It's what happens when you get older unless you're afraid to age and then you spend all your time doing ridiculous things to your body and face that make you just look weird.

(2,074 posts)I recently watched all the old Golden girls episodes, and just loved it. I've always loved Betty White in everything, and her vitality has been inspiring. But yes, tonight you could see that she is a woman of 96. Her voice was faltering, and she seemed to lose track of what she was saying at times. Still hilarious though. Amazing woman, and I hope she lives to beyond 100.
