2 things I found note worthy
First, that some of the Committee members have been on the Committee for 30 years. And apparently have learned nothing in that 30 years.
Second, Professor Hill's suggestion:
Do not rush these hearings. Doing so would not only signal that sexual assault accusations are not important hastily appraising this situation would very likely lead to facts being overlooked that are necessary for the Senate and the public to evaluate. That the committee plans to hold a hearing this coming Monday is discouraging. Simply put, a weeks preparation is not enough time for meaningful inquiry into very serious charges.
The GOP will, of course, rush the hearing just as they rushed their earlier tax bill. For the GOP, it is all about power politics, and covering for Trump.
