not to put those two words together. After the inauguration, whenever the news said, "The President", in my mind I still pictured Barack Obama. Then I realized they were talking about Trump and it was like being hit in the head with a sledge hammer every time.

I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t consider him as as president at all; he’s more like a Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade balloon that became untethered and then occupied by some evil spirit. #45 has as much legitimate claim to that office as Benito Mussolini (today, even!). He’s a hideous, inhuman mess of placeholder for a sane, Democratic, *genuine* president.

something that on some level he knows as well. That is the reason he gets so bent out of shape so easily. It certainly has nothing to do with not liking him, he is not "legitimate" and neither was the election.
