and according to conventional wisdom of the MSM, that is why the GOP was able to win in 2010.
But now that Dem voters are genuinely angry (not that bullshit, faux anger of the Tea Party) We are told the Dems can't run on anger at what Trump and the GOP are doing to this country.
Double standard with a half pike and a back flip.

But of course we are told the Dems shouldn't run against racism, they have to be "for" something.

(1,975 posts)It's also how Trump was elected. Varying reasons, but mostly there was a huge push back against being PC, especially online. He was the anti PC candidate, his election was all but inevitable. Low democrat excitement, a misinformation attack by a foriegn country.
Hindsight is a bitch, especially if we arent honest with how we lost. Yes, the election was close enough to steal. Why was that? Fake Democrats pretending to be swayed by the green party. (Foriegn actors) but there were also issues in the democratic platform. Yes, let's get pissed...lets also not lose sight how it happened, and put forth a message that cant be twisted.
I've been saying that the Democrats need to have a message, not the media. With how grassroot messages take hold and run like wildfire. Why cant the established democratic party get a cohesive message that cant be twisted?

In a series of psychological experiments between 2011 and 2015, he showed how hostility toward people with darker skin and perceived racial threats can influence white support for the tea party. He and his colleagues published a draft of a paper on their findings online last week some of the most direct evidence of the importance of race to the conservative resurgence during Obama's presidency.
