Wow. Blasey Ford says that Grassley scheduled the public hearing expecting her to testify “at the same table” as Kavanaugh. At the same table as the man she says once tried to rape her.

nicely, inches away from her attacker, there's a critical gap in your understanding of how that trauma, the terror, intimidation and fear, affects women all their lives. As a survivor, I still have PTSD episodes with waves of uncontrollable panic when something triggers a memory of what happened over 40 years ago. I cannot fathom the insult to Dr. Ford in being forced to sit at the same table with the man who tried to rape her and then denied it, no one else would be expected to do that.
