Would it have been better for Kavanaugh's accuser not to have come forward if she won't attend

Monday’s bearing without the FBI getting involved?

Good point about waiting, hoping testifying wouldn't be necessary. Hoyt Sep 2018 #7
Better that she came forward for the country's sake, better if she hadn't for her own. femmedem Sep 2018 #8

Any information on a candidate/nominee should be encouraged. But, it would be even better if she — or the next person— testifies.

Would be nice if we take a similar view when our candidate/nominee is involved.

he would get voted down for his other misgivings without putting my family and myself through this. She is a true Patriot to put herself out there in attempts to protect this country and the highest court from someone who is not honest and of good character.

For the gop to do this is nothing more than them playing their normal game of head fuck or by hook or by crook we will get our way.

Waiting a few weeks for an investigation would be much the same.

A wide swathe of the country will know who he is--and who the Republicans are when they confirm him--because she came forward. Even if she stops now, she's a hero.

But I believe that she will have upended her life only to see him confirmed if she doesn't testify on Monday. And not testifying will give some cover to those who vote to confirm him.
