(4,305 posts)he would get voted down for his other misgivings without putting my family and myself through this. She is a true Patriot to put herself out there in attempts to protect this country and the highest court from someone who is not honest and of good character.
For the gop to do this is nothing more than them playing their normal game of head fuck or by hook or by crook we will get our way.

(8,197 posts)A wide swathe of the country will know who he is--and who the Republicans are when they confirm him--because she came forward. Even if she stops now, she's a hero.
But I believe that she will have upended her life only to see him confirmed if she doesn't testify on Monday. And not testifying will give some cover to those who vote to confirm him.
