Charles Blow on CNN: An impassioned plea

NY Times Op-Ed columnist Charles Blow recounted his own experience as a child sexual abuse victim on a panel with Chris Cuomo at the 10PM hour. His emotional plea was that the trauma he felt cannot be known by anyone else and that Dr. Ford's ability to perform as expected is not possible. An emotional segment as he shared his own trauma and tried to relate how Dr. Ford must feel in the spotlight.

2. Charles Blow is right on the money

There is an incident that happened to me at age 14, more than 50 years ago.
A day does not pass without me revisiting it - sometimes for hours.
I've tried to discuss it with doctors - unsuccessfully in terms of resolution.

If I tried to talk about it in front of millions of viewers - like a Senate hearing, I might come off as a blithering idiot struggling to find the words or make sense of it all - particularly when more than half the men in the room were dishonest and politically motivated to smear me and destroy what I was trying to say.

Charles Blow couldn't be any more right.
