What kind of fucking dean reminds an alum of their silence motto before they go to make a public address?
For folks who don't know what I am talking about, back in 2015 Kavanaugh addressed Georgetown Law, and when he spoke, he mentioned that the dean of Georgetown Prep reminded him of their motto, "What happens at Georgetown Prep, stays at Georgetown Prep." Then Kavanaugh mentioned that that was a good thing. What the fuck are they hiding in that school?

It's in the city, about a 30 minute drive out to Georgetown Prep.
Possibly fair to say he might have some knowledge of Georgetown Prep's reputation ? No idea if it's true for prep schools in the DC area but...growing up in the Chicago Catholic boys school network, most of the schools had a "personality". Party, jocks, brains, science geeks vs. liberal arts guys. It was pretty much common knowledge.
So - I wouldn't point any kind of finger at St. Anselm's based on his comment. Probably just knows the local scoop on Georgetown Prep (which sounds like "P-A-R-T-Y !!!!)

(6,095 posts)In the speech, Kavanaugh included an inordinate amount about various partying and heavy drinking, much more so than I am used to seeing by others in a similar setting. While most of us might have a "bad roommate" or similar anecdote we might share in private, we would refrain from featuring that prominently in a formal professional presentation.
