Their "R's" are really showing. "Democrats have revictimized Ford with their shoddy handling of this matter!" True colors, folks. Snakes may shed their old skins, but they're still snakes.

(6,974 posts)And the rest of their thieving, complicit, treasonous, thuglican asses are mostly responsible for this MESS, And Dems NOT bothering to vote in mid-terms at all bear some blame also.
I don't watch Morning Joe because I still don't trust them as far as I can throw Flake, Collins, Murkowski, or Corker.

(7,299 posts)Yes, the dems were criticized for leaking this info at the last hour despite the fact that they promised confidentiality to the doctor. But, Joe and gang also criticized the Republicans for refusing to allow the FBI to have a few days to investigate this matter as the doctor has requested. This segment was actually the most comprehensive and balanced review of this ongoing political situation that I have seen thus far on television. Some believe that only criticism of Republicans should be allowed on television. That simply is not how the real world works.
Here is a link to the segment in question. Watch it and judge for yourself;

(7,299 posts)The Morning Joe panel reviewed the whole process and offered valid criticism irrrespective of bias IMO. I do not turn on Morning Joe expecting to hear only good things about Dems and bad things about Republicans. Who would want that ? That is an unrealistic expectation IMO. They made fair assessments IMO.

(7,299 posts)For refusing to allow the FBI to have a few days to investigate the matter than they did criticizing the Democrats for waiting to bring this info forward at this late hour in the process. Here, watch;

(7,299 posts)Republicans as I did, you too would understand that my claim that the presentation was balanced is indeed a statistical fact.

(15,278 posts)That is the first and primary consideration. She also contacted the Washington Post's tip line. She put Eshoo and Feinstein in a tough position. She gave them potentially disqualifying information, but then didn't allow them to release it by requesting confidentiality.
I suppose in questioning, some Senators could have hinted they knew Kavanaugh had done something bad and caught him off-guard like Harris did with her questions about knowing anyone at Kasowicz' law firm.
Dems can't force her to do something she doesn't want to do. I'm sure what Dems are doing is their best to support her and her atty's decisions.
