Why are Republicans such dicks? (part 3,2091)

I mean, really. Why are Republican voters such horrible dicks? What's wrong with them? What happened to them to fuck them up beyond reason?

Yeah, I know. "You've got to be taught." But even if you're taught to hate all the "Thems" when you're young, it seems that at some point in life, your brain will kick into gear. It seems that at some point in life, whatever empathy you have, may take effect. It seems that one fine day, reality will creep or seep into your mind.

Trump is the gold standard of not giving a fuck about anyone but himself. Do the millions who voted for him have the same beliefs/disbeliefs he holds? Are their minds as dysfunctional as his? Is Trump's ignorance, hatreds and incredibly sick mind contagious? The man is a disease. Are his "values" a communicable disease?

And then there are the elected Republicans. These are some of the worst dicks in the world. They know Trump is nuts, but they don't give a flying fuck about it. Just so long as he signs all the things they put in front of him that fucks Americans: -- Tax cuts for the rich; no regulations on businesses, disposing of all laws that prevent Jim Crow; doing away with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and anything that helps Americans live a better life; killing Roe vs. Wade; declaring America a "Christian" country; etc.

Most House and Senate Republican are part of a criminal empire. And their animosity and cruelty almost make Michael Corleone look like a saint.

But back to my original question. Why are Republican voters such pricks?

Why?

What's broken in their brains? What will it take to get through to them? How can they be made to understand that they are voting to fuck up their own well being?

What the fuck is wrong with these people? And is it fixable?

they artificially stoke the fires of discord and stir up emotions, in order to maintain their grip on the WH and Congress, and now that they have a chance to lock up the US Supreme Court in the same manner.

They don't have any other redeeming qualities so they use deceit, guile, lies, and whatever other tools they have.

Scum.

Not really interested in our everyday lives.

6. Maybe have it backwards, why are pricks Republicans?

I think it's that people with those tendencies are drawn to the GOP. All those years of feeling smugly superior to the Libtards has driven out anyone that voted GOP for policy reasons.

Anyone of them that felt any sense of commitment to country or fellow citizen has either left the party altogether or faded into the masses and have no impact on the direction of "The Party of Lincoln". The GOP is now left with only the worst offenders in charge and any dissent is drowned out by the mob..

10. Interesting concept, bigbrother05. You may be onto something.

It seems unreasonable that sane people would go along with the load of bullshit "values" that Republican preach, and try to sell as "reality." But it does seem reasonable that sick, demented, hateful human beings would be attracted to what today's Republican Party seems to stand for.

And it also seems reasonable that any sane person would run from them as from a plague. I think you're really onto something here. And I hope other DUers pick up on it.
