Dr. Ford Should Tell Garssley to Stick his Committee Up His Old White Ass, and Then Do TV

Dr. Ford should decline the Judiciary Committee ultimatum and stick to the demands she made. She should give the deadline of 6:00 PM tonight. If Grassley doesn't give in to the demands, tell him to shove it.

Then, Dr. Ford should do an hour long interview with a friendly reporter and her Attorney at a network of her choosing on Sunday night.

I negotiate union contracts for a living. Change the leverage. Fuck him.

in front of the american people. The american people can attest to her veracity or not then. Then she should appear before the hearing, and look at the GOP witch hunters and kavanaugh in the eyes and repeat her story. Stand up to bullies is how you beat bullies

should immediately fly to Maryland to file a criminal complaint against Kavsnaugh for kidnapping. Let us see how many Rethugs would vote for the first SC nominee facing criminal charges.

National news sources have reported that there is no statue of limitation in Maryland for rape and or kidnapping. File the charges let the Kavanaugh supporters chew on that.

People need to quit saying this.

Under MD law to be kidnapping they must transport the victim to another location against their will.

I explained this in detail befor but evidently some people decided quoting the actual law was a “right wing talking point” and hid it, so I won’t go to the effort to quote it all again. But look it up yourself, what is alleged is not kidnapping under the law in that state.

I was attacked numerous for pointing out that the FBI has no jurisdiction to investigate the alleged sexual assault and for pointing out that the WH would have to authorize the FBI to reopen the BGC.

For some unknown reason, pointing out facts seems to be a RW talking point to some.
Go figure.

11. Unlawful Restraint or False Imprisonment
Sat Sep 22, 2018, 09:29 AM
Sep 2018

§ 11.403 Unlawful restraint. A person commits a misdemeanor if he or she knowingly: (a) Restrains another unlawfully in circumstances exposing him or her to risk of serious bodily injury; or. (b) Holds another in a condition of involuntary servitude. Hide United States Code.

or

False Imprisonment as a Crime. False imprisonment is both a felony and a tort. It means the detention of a person in a bounded area without justification or consent. ... But the presence of criminal force is not mandatory to constitute an offense of false imprisonment.

Maryland Domestic Violence Laws

Domestic violence is a very serious crime involving acts or threats of violence against one's spouse, children, or other individuals sharing a domicile. Maryland criminal code doesn’t include specific laws for domestic violence between current or former spouses and other family members. However, the protection order laws in the Maryland Family Law Code define domestic abuse as an assault, rape, stalking, and other such offenses that occur between family or household members.

Therefore, if a person were to assault, rape, or commit any other crime against his or her current or former romantic partner, the crime charged and potential penalty assessed could be the same as if the crime were committed against a stranger. However, additional charges would be filed if child abuse or violations of a protective order occurred as well.

I totally agree with the OP....

Grassly has us "negotiating with ourselves" by not making any constructive proposal at all...just playing "hardball", or in this case DIRT BALL!

Change the dynamic...threat them with what they fear most...public exposure of their "princling"

Give Grassley an ultimatum, comply with my requests or I go public. Also a nice touch would be to add that Dr. Ford is considering filing charges.

I strongly agree, fuck Grassley.

At the time of my posting, I was unaware that was an option for Dr. Ford.

Change the dynamics. And now that a Grassley staffer had to resign due to a past harassment charge, Dr. Ford's side should really pile on.
