Texas park employee fired for calling police, saying she'd been run over

SHRED posted the video of this earlier. This is an update.

SAN ANTONIO (Texas News Radio) — A park employee in the Austin area has been fired after she was caught on video falsely claiming a park visitor had run her over.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says the event happened on August 25.

Chris Hampshire, who posted the video online, said he was leaving Cedar Breaks Park along Lake Georgetown with his jet ski. He said he had accidentally went down the wrong exit while leaving and corrected himself.

A park employee was outside and saw what had happened. Hampshire says the woman then started telling him that he was going to call the police and that he couldn’t leave.

Hampshire then started filming.

This is a crazy person who needs some serious help.

She did something similar to someone else about a year ago based on this video.

Giving the crazy lady a job far away from people where she probably doesn't do anything 95% of the time, but every now and again she loses it like in those videos.

Finally caught up with her.

Obvious racist.

I doubt she's mentally unhinged, just weird, power tripping. Both instances she's making accusations that she's being run over. She likely has been harassing park goers for years, getting in front of their cars, yelling at them for stuff she doesn't like. I bet a lot of people have stories about her.

17. I read that she's well known in the area for this behavior...

She is also known for making racial slurs and I have little doubt she's a racist. However, in the particular video being shown the guy she was calling the cops on was a white dude and there is a video going around saying he was a black man.

There is a profile pic on the Youtube video of the incident. It's a white guy.

The group "occupy democrats" put out a video in which it claimed the person was a person of color. Not really sure why they would be so sloppy in their reporting. I can see how there may have been some confusion based on the second video, but that doesn't really excuse the lack of diligence.

6. She probably needs professional help but that doesn't change what could have been

yet another police shooting of an African American man.

Her lies could have gotten him killed and she would have gone on feeling justified in her actions. Just like every one of the other white women lately, who have called the police just because they saw a black person doing something they felt black people shouldn't be doing...like having a picnic, swimming, breathing.

I would like for "Mike" to give a statement on what it was like to work alongside her. Could be very interesting.

His friend had a similar thing happen with her. Makes me wonder how many other similar encounters were recorded with her.
