I can't see why they would hesitate to file the complaint.

2. Excellent! Brewens, investigation doesn't have to

prove her story is true to be devastating to this nomination. If it substantiates her story, lending significant credibility, and justifying more intensive criminal investigation, that'll do for SCOTUS purposes.

And, of course, if other witnesses are identified, such as friends Kavanaugh and Judge might have blabbed to... Of course, the Repubs will refuse to subpoena them, but it could persuade them to call finis to this confirmation, which is already hanging by a thread.
