I have a sincere question for the DU Community..

I ask this question in all seriousness having spent more than fourteen years here:

What crime or activity would be necessary for a Republican office-holder, candidate, or operative to be excommunicated WITH IGNOMINY by his own Party and forced to resign or withdraw from contention?

Same goes with murder, robbery, but by live I mean video as they won’t trust any witnesses.

Trump reacted to Ford by code calling his goons through his Twitter feed, she then receives more death threats. Then Mitch McConnell tells the cons, don't worry, be happy, Kavanaugh will sit on the SCOTUS no matter what. Effectively stating that no matter what Kavanaugh says in response to questioning, it won't matter.

No rock bottom. Its the main reason they're such a dangerous political party.

Trump eviscerates Christie for being 'a little boy' during Obama visit
[By David Sherfinski - The Washington Times - Tuesday, December 29, 2015]

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump tore into New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie during a Monday stop in New Hampshire, hitting his 2016 GOP rival on President Obama’s visit to the Garden State in the wake of Superstorm Sandy in 2012 and saying it’s unlikely Mr. Christie didn’t know anything about the 2013 lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.

Mr. Christie famously welcomed Mr. Obama into the state after the storm hit New Jersey toward the tail end of the 2012 presidential campaign.

“I don’t know if it cost him the election, but it cost him a lot of votes,” Mr. Trump said. “And there are many people that think that that endorsement, when Obama went to New Jersey, that that endorsement was responsible for the loss of the Republican party and Romney. I mean, it was certainly not good.”
