The hurricane isn't over yet
There are 3 major roads to the east cost of NC. US 64, US 70, and Interstate 40. Two of the three are closed. Wilmington is still isolated by land. Landfall was over a week ago. My schools reopen for teachers on Monday, students on Wed. There are some that are closed until further notice. We have made progress. BTW we were still in the midst of recovery from Matthew which happened in 2016. We will survive and we are recovering but it isn't over yet.
