the unreliability of a polygraph...and then screaming at the WH to administer dozens of them!

That is why it is not allowed as evidence in court. It is possible to train people to beat the machine, and in some cases, spies have occupied high positions in American intelligence agencies for years before eventually getting caught. But they always passed their polygraph exams.
