Republicans don't have the votes for Kavanaugh at this time.

If they want to save this nomination, they will need to buy more time.

They were discussing this on CNN just moments ago. One commentator thought that Collins, Murkowski, Flake, and Corker were not sure votes at this time.

I would add Sasse of Nebraska to that list. And there may be one or two others that are not totally committed to Kavanaugh's nomination?

This may be the reality that the Republicans are now dealing with? You can't win if you don't have the votes.

He needs to oppose Kavanaugh. Of course, Republicans will come up with a equally horrible but likely less deviant person.

The Staffer said that Corker was leaning to confirm. But that was before this weekend's news.

I brought up his perjury and time with the Ken Star investigation and the staffer acted like she had never heard about those things.

Will be heavily targeted for doing this to women. They will be held accountable this Nov. , and regret their vote for this monster. It'll only help closer races be decided against them also. They are losing the Senate now.
