Trump is the subject of an investigation, the oversight responsibility of which belongs to Rosenstein since the AG recused himself. Trump has no authority to fire Rosenstein in this case.

this is not good. Protesters are being arrested due to Kavanaugh. I think the pressure cooker is about to blow now.

We need to mobilize and to those who are putting themselves on the front lines thank you.

Does Trump appoint a new deputy director? Does that person have to be confirmed?

Francisco has already sided with Sessions and Rosenstein against Trump in regard to the Mueller probe. He's a Right Winger, but he's another law enforcement officer loyal to the Constitution. Doubt much changes.

We have a president who colluded with a hostile foreign power intent on destroying the very fabric of our democracy, and the powers that be are doing their very best to cover it up. Fuck this fucking administration.

That he got elected, and congress has actively worked to enable him, has been an ongoing, and building constitutional crisis from day one.

10. We do have a systemic legitimacy crisis in the United States

It's multifaceted.

One of race: Because we have a political culture that views the lowest white man as superior to an eminently qualified man of color (And that's just one example)

One of sexuality: Because we have a political culture that sees heterosexual sexual predators like Roy Moore or Brett Kavanaugh as moral betters of law abiding GLBTQ people

One of national security: Because we have a political culture that considers "good national security" to be "Sure there is a mass shooter, but hey, the mass shooter is white and not a Muslim... so win"

One of economics: Because people are working harder than ever and getting less, people are going to bed hungry, bills are not going paid, but hey, the Dow broke a new record, so the fundamentals of the economy are clearly strong right?

One of spirituality: The same Evangelicals who pushed the 2003 Iraq War to bring on the end times are now seen as paragons of Christianity by the Trump administration and they support him no matter what he says or does. They are an integral part of that political culture mentioned several times above.

I'm not sure if we're in a Constitutional crisis yet, but when we are, it'll just be another nail really, that's all.
