Was Trump on a 3-way call from Trump Tower to the White House?

...with General Kelly and Rod Rosenstein?

Perhaps?

But he never had the balls to fire him? He's afraid of another obstruction of justice charge?

It appears they planted the story ahead of time that Rosenstein was going to resign. It was reported in several outlets that Rosenstein had resigned. But, that doesn't seem to be the case?

Where does this leave the White House? Their yellow streak is shining bright today.

Things move so fast now and everybody wants to be the first to get the Big Story. Trump firing Rosenstein on account of last week's NYT article wouldn't have been a big surprise, but they assumed that Rosenstein went to the WH to tender his resignation or get fired. Tired old saying: ASSUME makes an ASS of U and ME. We bit, too.
