Mark Judge didn't just OBSERVE. He jumped on her, too. His second drunken attempt to join in

resulted in the three of them tumbling to the floor, and Blasey's escape.

Most accounts I've seen underplay his involvement. If this happened he wouldn't only be a witness. He was there when Blasey got pushed into the bedroom, and he tried to jump on her, too.

If he's called to testify he'll probably plead the 5th.

Ford said that on the night of the party, she left the family room to use the bathroom, which was at the top of a narrow stairway. She doesn’t remember whether Kavanaugh and Judge were behind her or already upstairs, but she remembers being pushed into a bedroom and then onto a bed. Rock-and-roll music was playing with the volume turned up high, she said.

She alleges that Kavanaugh — who played football and basketball at Georgetown Prep — held her down with the weight of his body and fumbled with her clothes, seemingly hindered by his intoxication. Judge stood across the room, she said, and both boys were laughing “maniacally.” She said she yelled, hoping that someone downstairs would hear her over the music, and Kavanaugh clapped his hand over her mouth to silence her.

At one point, she said, Judge jumped on top of them, and she tried unsuccessfully to wriggle free. Then Judge jumped on them again, toppling them, and she broke away, she said.

Saying that him knocking them to the floor was an attempt to get Kavanaugh to stop.

The other thing is that Mark Judge, Kavanaugh's wingman and drinking buddy, is kind of a (very minor) hero of the story. Though Judge is also drunk, it is Kavanaugh that pushes her into the room. Judge's comments range from "go for it" to "stop", which at least indicates he might have had a moment of humanity. And it is Judge who barrels into Kavanaugh in the middle of the assault, knocking him off of Ford, and giving her time to get out of the room. And, years later when he sees her again, he is apparently ashamed and uncomfortable. As much of an asshole he seems to have been, at least his actions led to the end of the assault.

After seeing Judge’s denial, Elizabeth Rasor, who met Judge at Catholic University and was in a relationship with him for about three years, said that she felt morally obligated to challenge his account that “ ‘no horseplay’ took place at Georgetown Prep with women.” Rasor stressed that “under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t reveal information that was told in confidence,” but, she said, “I can’t stand by and watch him lie.” In an interview with The New Yorker, she said, “Mark told me a very different story.” Rasor recalled that Judge had told her ashamedly of an incident that involved him and other boys taking turns having sex with a drunk woman. Rasor said that Judge seemed to regard it as fully consensual. She said that Judge did not name others involved in the incident, and she has no knowledge that Kavanaugh participated. But Rasor was disturbed by the story and noted that it undercut Judge’s protestations about the sexual innocence of Georgetown Prep. (Barbara Van Gelder, an attorney for Judge, said that he “categorically denies” the account related by Rasor. Van Gelder said that Judge had no further comment.)

Another woman who attended high school in the nineteen-eighties in Montgomery County, Maryland, where Georgetown Prep is located, also refuted Judge’s account of the social scene at the time, sending a letter to Ford’s lawyers saying that she had witnessed boys at parties that included Georgetown Prep students engaging in sexual misconduct. In an interview, the woman, who asked to have her name withheld for fear of political retribution, recalled that male students “would get a female student blind drunk” on what they called “jungle juice”—grain alcohol mixed with Hawaiian Punch—then try to take advantage of her. “It was disgusting,” she said. “They treated women like meat.”

Why are Mr. Davis, Sen. Grassley, etc. refusing to hear from
Mark Judge. He is likely the most important witness in the
process and yet they are attempting to hide his testimony
and prevent the truth from emerging. He should be subpoenaed
to testify NOW so the truth can be known.

their own peccadilloes to hide. (A peccadillo is not a small mushroom-shaped dick, but it likely is in their cases.)

Boys will be boys. Fine boys' school educations followed by some fun frat events while in college.

We may not get total understanding of the crimes of these people (the congress-critters/pResidents) right now. But maybe the spotlight of history will shine a whole lot brighter on the new crop of SCOTUS, presidential, and congressional nominees.
