2. Never thought Franken should have resigned. Never blamed Democratic leaders for calling for his

resignation at the end of chain of allegations either exactly because it meant WE established our principles. Sometimes there is more than two sides to choose from...nuances...consequences.

Now comes the payoff. I like to think Franken understood that too.

3. Al Franken did nothing. Tweeden was obvioulsy lying, working for Roger Stone and Hannity

and the other allegations were he put his arm on their waist.

4. I see it only slightly different. Franken, in part, was protecting the reputation of the Senate and

the reputation of the Democratic Party as the party that believes the women...politics be damned, as hurtful as that is.

Franken resigned on principal. We can stand on that principal now and Republicans can not.
