Euphoria now? A crash "worse than the Great Depression," may be imminent

Last edited Tue Sep 25, 2018, 12:37 PM - Edit history (2)

Many Americans are euphoric. The stock market continues the tear it's been on since the Obama recovery. Trump inherited it and added gasoline with an irresponsible unpaid-for tax cut scam that is currently providing a sugar high for the capital holding class. Most Americans are waiting their turn for the crumbs that will never come. Why? A crash tantamount to or greater than the Great Depression may be on its way.

1. It'll be OK. All those folks clicking on ads

at your blog will insulate you from this "crash," I'm sure.

In any case, here's a link to the Newsweek story you based your article on:

3. Yes. A person may be eminent, but a stock market crash

can only be imminent.

4. The link says eminent too.

That's a pretty major error for a publication, imo.

6. The link is to that DUer's blog.

An error on one is an error on all. That word is not used at the Newsweek article from which the poster got the information, though.

8. I believe the linked publication was written by the OP.

I could be wrong, of course.

7. Stagnant wages and rapid inflation on tap next

That will eventually lead to a business cycle recession. Will be big if all those high percentage, long term expensive car loans, and hyper-inflated real estate loans go South. Then, it's all about exposure...

Inflation/stagflation 12-24 months

Recession next 24-36 months...

13. Someone was writing about the price of food last week.

I got into a back and forth with one poster about the price of chicken. I am single, I food shop maybe every two-three weeks. The time I purchased chicken before sharing posts on DU was about 2-3 weeks ago. I bought chicken yesterday, the price had jumped up from what I paid three weeks ago. I am normally price insensitive, maybe it was the DU post that made me notice, or maybe the price just shocked me.

15. That would make this spam.

I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Guess I need to learn a bit more.
