Prediction: Ds take back the House and Senate, tRump announces he can work with them better than Rs

tRump has no ideology. He’s not a D or an R. All he cares about is winning. He’s also about chaos.

So, if the Ds retake Congress, he will focus on “winning,” which means a huge sea change in the policies he’ll support. He will revert to his “I’m really quite liberal” position. He will see that he can get a lot more done - and take credit for it - working with Schumer and Pelosi than he could with the feckless Rs. And, he would see his poll numbers rise considerably. “It wasn’t me they hated, it was McConnell and Ryan.”

Hell, to avoid impeachment, he may decide to run as the DEMOCRATIC candidate in 2020.

Far fetched? Well, we’re well beyond far fetched, are we not?

trump just wants to win. He's more liberal than repubs think. He would work with the Dems so he could get wins. As far as trump running as a Dem, no way. We Dems are too knowing about trump.

I thought it was an area he was going to flounder more.

He has stuck very closely to the investor class and is holding their line. He is filling their pockets. It is an ideology. He is also proving to be more conservative than I thought. He has gutted regulations, agencies, and sent our budget backwards(something many conservative believe is necessary in order to take on spending). His appointments have been extreme conservatives and he is about to place his second right winger on the court.

He would just tell them he worked out a great deal with his new Democratic friends and they will believe him.

He talks tough, but he is very submissive to people who have power over him. He will lick Pelosi's boots just because she can impeach him.

Except the party switch. That won’t happen and he couldn’t win a primary. But the rest is right on. He wants to appear successful. He doesn’t care what he signs.

If Dems control both houses of Congress, he's going to sign most of what they put in front of him. He will pointlessly, perhaps dangerously, arbitrarily veto some things just to seem like a tough guy.

Most of the time though he'll claim he got the best deal and the Dems caved to him like no other GOP POTUS ever.

The real tension will be between his desire for signing ceremonies and his aides whispering in his ear all the reasons he should veto something.

He will declare it “suspicious” and “refuse to certify” it. This man will double down on the embarrassment he is.
