(31,109 posts)(only russians and GOP agreed with it) LOVED and still do Obama and HATE him.
Rump is a traitor who is going to sign off on our deaths, soon, if that is what it takes to keep him out of justice's way.
Count on it.

Karl Rove was right back in 2000,we count the votes.

(31,109 posts)someone who is EXACTLY Like him will, the ONLY difference might be the view of rump being above the law but even that
I mean fuck, why is that even important unless you KNOW you have FOUR OTHER fucking sycophants just waiting to say he is above the law...

(6,377 posts)I love DU, but it tends to go crazy when the stock market falls by 50 points, but is completely silent when it goes up 200.

(22,112 posts)Will happen soon (who knows when exactly), based upon the fact that we've had up up up for almost 9 years+. Housing is getting slower, manufacturing of housing goods will slow down, and perhaps might trigger something, but I am more inclined to think that rump will do something idiotic and cause something of a panic...
Wouldn't surprise me one bit...

(17,301 posts)It's cash on the sidelines because I'm anticipating exactly what you refer to. There's bound to be some Stormy days ahead for the stock market and for Trump (Stormy x2 in his case).
I'll wait for the big bargains, even if that means being patient for several months or a year.

(145,126 posts)The world is laughing at trump http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/the-un-trump-finds-the-world-literally-laughing-him
In the Reagan era, Trump insisted that bad guys were laughing at the United States. In 2011, The Atlantic ran a piece noting Trump making the same argument about international laughter, at Americans expense, during the Clinton, Bush, and Obama eras.
Everyone is always pointing and laughing at America, in Trumps view, The Atlantic piece noted. A psychologist might have a field day with this.
Stop by the Trump Twitter Archive and search for example of the president writing missives about people laughing at us. Its not a short list.
Traditionally, this has made Trump appear vaguely paranoid about ridicule that didnt really exist, responding to laughter that only he could hear. This morning, however, was an altogether different dynamic: at the United Nations, the world laughed at Trump.

(17,301 posts)said he intended that to be a "laugh line."
Yeah, right!
When has Donny ever laughed about anything, let alone his own administration's performance. He takes himself way too seriously. His peers on the world stage obviously do not, however. I think yesterday came as quite a shock to him, although the effects will likely be fleeting. It would be a real eye-opener for a sane, well-adjusted individual. For Trump, he'll brush it off and return to his narcissism/megalomania.

(297,136 posts)But while the truism that America is governed by Americans and the rejection of what he called globalism may win him points at a campaign rally in Kansas, it doesn't with the global leaders gathered in Manhattan. The same goes for his bragging, and factually inaccurate opening line that his administration had accomplished more than any other in US history. At the UN General Assembly it was rightfully met with a mixture of incredulous and embarrassed laughter. That was also the reaction of the German delegation after Trump called out Berlin by claiming that Germany would become completely dependent on Russian energy if it did not reverse course on a controversial gas pipeline.

Trump's boasting prompts laughter
As many in the audience erupted in laughter, Trump added, So true, with a smile before digressing from his script to note: Didnt expect that reaction,
but thats OK.
Of course, Fraud "didn't expect that reaction".. he's a fucking moron.
And while reporters and foreign policy experts could not recall another leader ever before drawing derisive laughter at a UN speech, it did not end there. When Trump made another claim Germany will become totally dependent on Russian energy the cameras revealed the German delegation laughing and snickering to one another.
With Trumps own behavior and policies as a backdrop, the substance of Trumps speech merited laughter it was an incomprehensible joke

I'm waiting for the rest of the scene to play out -- you know, where the police haul him off to jail.
