Dem lawmaker trolls Trump over reception of UN speech
California Rep. Eric Swalwell (D) mocked President Trump with one of his own tweets after a video of world leaders responding with laughter to Trump's boasts at the United Nations went viral.
Swalwell retweeted a 2014 message from Trump on Tuesday aimed at former President Obama, in which Trump accuses his predecessor of being "a laughing stock to the entire world."
"We need a President who isn't a laughing stock to the entire World. We need a truly great leader, a genius at strategy and winning. Respect!" Trump wrote in the August 2014 message.
"Just leaving this here," Swalwell added in his own caption on Tuesday.
