Forget the Courts for now. Focus on Congress and Senate

Even if the Republicans get their guy in next week, he can be put on the backburner for now.
Afterall, LBJ's guy, Abe Fortes was kicked off the court for corruption. We can go after Kavanaugh later.

We have to take things in steps. We are way behind the GOP in gaining control so, we need to start with the basics.
We need the Congress and hopefully Senate.
With the Congress we can conduct oversight hearings and get Trump's Tax Returns!
Begin peeling the Onion back and expose the corruption going on. Not just with Trump and his Administration but, Congresspeople who were enabling it: Nunes, i.e. Maybe McConnell. State GOPers who were helping. All the dirt will be exposed and laid bare before the people

It is of utmost importance we focus on the 2018 elections and winning.

Once we totally discredit the Republicans as corrupt and criminal, then we can start working on the courts.

As a student of 20th century history I do know that FDR faced a conservative court. The court packing scheme came about from this. But, while the courts knocked down some programs they did not destroy the New Deal and it went on to create the largest post war middle class and helped the working class unionize.

So, let's not worry. All in good time if we keep focused and not expect things to happen overnight.

I think we should focus on both, and my senators, Feinstein and Harris, seem to be capable of doing more than one thing at a time.

The - well, stuff - going on in the Kavanaugh confirmation will hurt the GOP both in November and 2020.
