"I don't have to change my behavior to accommodate anybody."

No, nobody said that, that I know of.

That’s what the entitled persons, the ones at the top of the food chain in our society, would say if they were totally honest with themselves and everybody else. I believe that’s exactly how people think who have such a problem with political correctness and tolerance of other, less powerful groups.

I actually dated a man who said this, but substitute "don't have to" with "won't." Tucker08087 Sep 2018 #1

I’m 99% sure that would then be the exact quote. He sucked me in with charming, witty intelligence. Then I began to see red flags. When I tried to very politely express my concerns, this was his response. I think I was out of the relationship two weeks later, carefully tiptoeing through what I suspected was a minefield. I wasn’t with him long enough to give him a definitive label, but there were some unjustifiable revenge tactics simply because I broke off the relationship in a gentle and (I thought) amicable way that makes me believe that I dodged a bullet by ending it when I did. He did seem to feel that the world owed him everything and nothing was ever his fault. Entitled.
